A huge overlap with "Adaptational Badassery" and "Not Like Other Girls", this trope involves an adaptation, reboot or sequel that takes a female character and attempts to make her more empowered by EXTREMELY increasing her badass qualities. While this trope is neutral in basis– oftentimes it can succeed in making a character more empowered or giving a character more agency– it is often used in a half-assed attempt to appeal to feminists by making her more masculine and/or showing a hatred for traditionally feminine traits. Often in an attempt to appeal to capitalistic society, she will desperately desire to work and/or own a company.
