The childhood friend and eventual girlfriend of Sally Acorn, Nicole was lethally injured following a Badnik attack leading to Sally transferring her consciousness to a computer. Now an AI, Nicole often assists the Chipmunk in critical functions such as hacking and surveillance as well as in other ways like easing her worries about the responsibility of being a leader, hiring the Chaotix to deliver packages to Sally while she was out in space battling the Metarex, and playing a key role in the defeat of Fatal Error. She would eventually be able to create a holographic projection of herself with the help of Tails, allowing her and Sally to finally hold each other again.
