Synopsis

(BTW, the poster is OFFICIAL concept art, and this is only because I wanted to get it out of my system. Enjoy!) Our hedgehog hero is back, and it's bigger than before!!! Robotnik has survived, and has used the Super Sonic quill to conquer civilizations and rule the world as he wanted! Sonic, and his new friend Amy Rose, will have to face Robotnik and his greatest creation, Metal Sonic, to save the world and get Sonic back home!

  • autobotsonicfan I have this theory about Paramount/SEGA/Jeff Fowler picking voice actors/actresses: if they want to go the celebrity route like they did with Jim Carrey as Robotnik, they could have Anna Kendrick, or even Ariana Grande as their go-to. But then there is also Sonic-game-alumni voice acting like Colleen O'Shaughnessy as Tails who has been voicing him for over 10 years, meaning they could go for either Lisa Ortiz or Cindy Robinson as Amy (which is unlikely in a sense). Or they could go the obscure/unexpected route like for Ben Schwartz and James Marsden as Sonic and Donut Lord and pick Selena Gomez, or Ginnefer Goodwin or Mae Whitman or even Dove Cameron. Yet, there's something in my Sonic Movie Actor paradox https://www.mycast.io/forums/movies/topics/the-sonic-movie-actor-paradox that would support Shannon Chan-Kent, who played as the waitress in Sonic 1 and Amy in Sonic Prime because in Sonic 1 Keanu was featured in it, and Speed was referenced at least twice, and that's where we got Keanu Reeves as Shadow.. And finally, they could go the Paramount route and use actors that have been featured in Paramount or Nickelodeon stuff before, such as Mae Whitman (again) and Kimiko Glenn (who sounds exactly like Amy if Cindy Robinson passed down the torch).

    • autobotsonicfan   @tj Yeah. Even though Kimiko Glenn and Alison Brie sound almost exactly the same as Cindy Robinson's portrayal of Amy, Anna's portrayal of Poppy in Trolls just screams "Amy Rose".
