Synopsis

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is an upcoming action adventure comedy film based on the video game series Sonic the Hedgehog published by Sega, and the sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022). It is directed by Jeff Fowler from a screenplay by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington, based on a story by Casey and Miller. James Marsden, Ben Schwartz, Tika Sumpter, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Lee Majdoub, Idris Elba, and Jim Carrey reprise their roles from the previous installments, with Keanu Reeves joining the cast.

Angel Island. A land of miracles. Of mysteries. My home. I am its guardian. I watch over the Master Emerald and every living thing here. That is to say, all plants and animals. Any other kind of civilization is long since disappeared from the island. I do things on my own and that's just how I like it. I don't need anyone else to get by. But sometimes... I wonder how things would be if I hadn't been given this responsibility. Why was I chosen for this duty? Perhaps it's karma...
