Synopsis

What Sonic thought would be a pretty standard, though important, mission saving Amy from Dr. Eggman and defeating his new creation, quickly spirals into a fight with an apocalyptic threat when newcomers Silver and Blaze travel back in time to prevent a prophecy: a prophecy with Sonic at the centre.
