In the lush and vibrant Green Hill Zone, Sonic the Hedgehog and his best friend, Tails, live in harmony, enjoying their daily high-speed adventures. Their peaceful existence is suddenly interrupted when an interdimensional portal opens, and Junior Asparagus from the VeggieTales universe emerges, bewildered and seeking help.
Junior explains that the Veggie Heart, a powerful relic that sustains peace in his world, has been stolen by the evil Dr. Broccoli.
