I read Sisterhood of Dune in preparation for Dune: Prophecy, initially believing that the show would be an adaptation of the book, but I guess we'll find out just how much of an adaptation the show is next month. Now, 83 years after many thinking machines were destroyed in the Battle of Corrin (which I have yet to read about), follow the successors to Faykan Corrino's empire, Vorian Atreides and the family of Abulurd Harkonnen, Raquella Berto-Anirul and the Sisterhood of Rossak, Gilbertus Albans and the Order of Mentats on Lampadas, the business of Venport Holdings, and the Butlerian movement's continued war against the thinking machines.read more
