Synopsis

Vietnam War, 1968, deep in the Mekong Delta. The universe of Sinners—where moral ambiguity, supernatural undertones, and raw human conflict collide—transplants its gritty, soul-questioning essence to the humid, war-torn jungles of Vietnam. The metaphysical stakes of the original series, with its blend of divine judgment and human frailty, manifest here as soldiers grapple with the horrors of war, their own demons, and eerie, unexplainable phenomena in the jungle. A ragtag platoon of American soldiers, known as the "Lost Saints," is tasked with a covert mission to retrieve a mysterious artifact from a temple deep in Viet Cong territory. Rumors swirl that the artifact—a relic tied to the Sinners universe’s cosmic balance of sin and redemption—holds the power to alter fate itself. As the platoon navigates ambushes, betrayal, and the psychological toll of war, they encounter supernatural forces: spectral figures in the mist, voices whispering sins in the night, and visions of their own guilt made flesh. The line between enemy, ally, and otherworldly judgment blurs as each soldier confronts their personal sins in a crucible of war.
