Description of Lady Ochiba:
One of the late Taiko's consorts and mother of Yaechiyo. She is the daughter of the late Kuroda Nobuhisa, a ruthless warlord who unified Japan long before the Taiko did. When she returned to Osaka to reunite with her son, she takes control of the regents and schemes to get rid of Toranaga whom she suspects is responsible for her father's death.
