Synopsis

A maverick British officer leads a squad of crack shots on special operations in the Peninsular War against Napoleon's occupying forces in Spain and Portugal. Lt Richard Sharpe has been promoted from the ranks for saving the life of Sir Arthur Wellesley. Sent behind enemy lines, he meets a beautiful female guerilla.
