Synopsis

Fifteen years after the Heiji Rebellion, the Heike clan has reached the height of its power, while the Genji clan remains devastated by defeat. Hidden deep within the mountains of Kurama lives Minamoto no Yoshi-tsune, the youngest surviving male heir to the Genji name. However, Yoshi-tsune harbors a deep secret known by very few. A secret which he slowly discovers after meeting a beautiful girl, who started to awakened "something" inside him.

Description of Shizuka Gozen (Yoshi-tsune's main love interest):

Kuro's childhood friend. A shirabyōshi dancer whom he fell in love at first sight. However, after their reunion, he soon discovers her terrible secret: she is a vampire, but for unknown reasons, he wasn't scared of her. Shizuka is very distant and only seems to care about the bond she shares with Kuro even though she has a strange way of showing it. Instead of attacking him, she openly confessed to Kuro about herself. When she gave Kurou her blood to save him, it seem to awoken "something" that's been sleeping inside him for a long time.
