A cosmic entity known as the Beyonder transports a group of Earth’s heroes and villains to a planet called Battleworld. There, they are forced to fight each other in a series of battles for the Beyonder's amusement and the promise of their deepest desires. As heroes clash with villains, alliances form and tensions rise, leading to dramatic confrontations.
