Description of Fred Jones:
In this iteration, there's actually some explanation given as to why 4 teens and a dog are travelling around Dudeston County in a barely functional van. You see, Fred and Daphne were both from two obscenely wealthy families. And, as fictional wealthy families do, they got Fred and Daphne engaged to secure their financial future. But, just when they had gotten comfortable, Fred got a draft notice for the Vietnam war. On top of that, the Second Great Depression was in full swing, and the crime rate was at an all-time high. So, seeking to avoid the draft and do something about the rising crime rate, Fred gathered his group of closest friends, loaded up his van, and headed off.
