Description of Daphne Ann Blake:
Daphne, a bright journalist from an affluent family, lost her job after she failed to break a story on which she had been working for almost a year. She then had the good fortune to land a position hosting Daphne Blake's Mysterious Mysteries on the Knitting Channel, which added to her reputation among her peers as a laughingstock. She is driven as a journalist to uncover the truth at all costs. Noted for being exceedingly skeptical, she has a sharp tongue and a snarky attitude. Even so, it is shown that Daphne has a soft spot for Fred and is deeply concerned for the safety of the entire gang below her tough exterior.
