Imagined as an animated epic, not live action.

Description of Mercury, Roman God of Speed (Avatar to Hermes):

The Roman avatar of Hermes of the Gods of Olympus, Mercury gained independence as did all the other avatars, with the Olympians learning too late it was a trap by Darkseid to weaken their influence. He also has a significant tie to the Marvel Family, offering the gift of his speed to them in the magic world "Shazam".
