Imagined as an animated epic, not live action.

Description of Matter-Eater Lad (Tenzil Kem):

Tenzil Kem hails from the planet Bismoll, where they found that microbes had made all their food inedible, and that the populace evolved their ability to eat all matter as a survival mechanism. This ability may have seemed odd, but Tenzil would prove himself to the Legion of Super-Heroes, becoming known as Matter-Eater Lad. Though he has tried to return to help Bismoll, Matter-Eater Lad is ready to aid the Legion in his own unique way.
