A brilliant neurosurgeon, Thomas Elliot is a childhood friend to Bruce Wayne, one of the only people to approach him in his youth. Dealing with an abusive father and a mother concerned only with her status, Tom had sought to end his parents' lives, only with his mother surviving thanks to Thomas Wayne, and leading him with a grudge against the Waynes. Over the years, Tom would train himself, steeling himself as well as learning Bruce was Batman, leading him to take on a new moniker, dubbed "Hush". Though for a time Tom had Bruce's face when Bruce was believed dead, he since has scarred himself, and disappeared, his fortune lost, but his mind burning for vengeance.
