Synopsis

A return to the pre-Flashpoint Earth 0 of the DC Omniverse, showing how it and the multiverse it is tied to have changed thanks to events such as Convergence and the aftermath of Dark Knights Death Metal., exploring how it is a similar, but bold new world and remind fans of the old still standing with the new. Imagined as an animated epic, not live action.

Description of Dr. Bruce Gordon:

A scientist specializing on solar energy, Dr. Bruce Gordon had come to Diablo Island to photograph a solar eclipse. Unfortunately, the natives assumed he would steal their "sun god", which led the witch doctor Mophir to cut him with the Heart of Darkness, which passed the curse of Eclipso to Bruce, even as Mophir died. Finding shards of the Heart of Darkness, Bruce became Eclipso's first modern host, eventually being made to be the host again following Jean Loring's death. Even now, Bruce does what he can to oppose Eclipso and find a way to stop him in his schemes.
