Imagined as an animated epic, not live action.

Description of Darkseid:

Once known as Uxas, Darkseid reigns the dark planet of Apokolips, opposing his fellow New Gods on New Genesis as well as seeking the Anti-Life Equation, wishing to bring all free will under his thumb. Over the centuries, Darkseid has spawned many children, and plotted many schemes, taking a particular interest in Earth, believing it has the Anti-Life Equation, and making a great enemy out of Superman and his fellow heroes. Though dead after the Final Crisis, Darkseid is not one to stay down, and the power of his Omega Effect will shake the universe once more...
