Imagined as an animated epic, not live action.

Description of Captain Comet (Adam Blake, Comet):

Born in 1931, Adam Blake had been bathed in the light of a comet which accelerated his evolution by 10 millennia. As he grew, Adam discovered his vast powers, but didn't use them until he was 20, saving the world from a threat, where he was known as Captain Comet. Over the decades, Comet protected both Earth and outer space, which led him to die, only to revive himself in a younger body, with new powers. Now, he works with L.E.G.I.O.N. after working with R.E.B.E.L.S. to beat Starro the Conqueror, though Adam has a feeling threats in space aren't over by a long shot.
