A return to the pre-Flashpoint Earth 0 of the DC Omniverse, showing how it and the multiverse it is tied to have changed thanks to events such as Convergence and the aftermath of Dark Knights Death Metal., exploring how it is a similar, but bold new world and remind fans of the old still standing with the new. Imagined as an animated epic, not live action.

Description of Blackrock:

The name Blackrock has been used by many enemies to Superman, who all had ties to the Blackrock, an alien parasite within a stone capable of controlling and using its host for its own means. After Superman's last encounter with the last known Blackrock, Lucia, the power of the Blackrock withdrew into itself... however... it was growing. The current Blackrock is an energy construct of the Blackrock itself, gaining sentience as it seeks dominance over Earth and wishes to dispose of Superman, the only obstacle in its way.
