Synopsis

The year is 1998 and we are taken to a small town called Raccoon City (in the American Midwest)in the Arklay Mountains strange murder cases were taking place,causing great fear and panic in the residents of the city. Preliminary investigations by the R.P.D (Raccoon Police Department)indicate that the cases would be related to cannibalism,as the victims had distinct bite marks on parts of their bodies and due to this,a division called the Bravo team of a known tactical group. as S.T.A.R.S(Special Tactics and Rescue Service)is destined to fly over the mountains of the city, but soon contact with the team is lost. But the following night, the other division of the group (Alpha Team)is sent to the Arklay Mountains to rescue the other division but it is from this moment that they arrive there in an apparently abandoned mansion that the nightmare begins.

Description of Barry Burton (Alpha Team Member/Family father):

Barry is the Alpha Team's weapons supervisor.After joining Chris in the air force,he was part of a specialized SWAT team and a while later in 1996 he went to work for the Raccoon Police Department and was recruited by the special operations unit(S.T.A.R.S)because he had a lot of knowledge in equipment and firearms.He is a very calm guy but he has a huge sense of justice. And unlike the other team members,he is married and has two young daughters.Chris and Barry are great friends,so much so that Barry even considers Chris as part of his family.
