In ancient Persia, Prince Dastan and his warband stumbles upon a revered Indian princess who leads them to a lost kingdom in the Indus Valley - a mythical city of beauty, dominated at its center by a massive Tree of Life. Therein lies an ancient evil entity of darkness, Ahriman, who was imprisoned within the tree after a cosmic struggle with his brother, Ormazd.
