Synopsis

In ancient Persia, Prince Dastan and his warband stumbles upon a revered Indian princess who leads them to a lost kingdom in the Indus Valley - a mythical city of beauty, dominated at its center by a massive Tree of Life. Therein lies an ancient evil entity of darkness, Ahriman, who was imprisoned within the tree after a cosmic struggle with his brother, Ormazd. When they arrive, Princess Alaoka fights her father, the Mourning King, who unleashes Ahriman as payment for a debt. In doing so, all of Ahriman’s Corruption is set upon the world. With the help of Prince Dastan and his men, Aaloka must take up arms against these cosmic foes in an attempt to redeem herself and cleanse the blighted kingdom from the corruptions of mankind. Based on the 2008 game by Ubisoft, this sweeping fantasy romance harkens back to the great swords & sorcery films of old like the 7th Voyage of Sinbad, with a more intimate lense.

Description of Gershom:

One of Dastan’s closest friends and a member of his Immortals. He is of Jewish descent and the first to truly believe the seriousness of the situation. His weapons are his bow and kopis sword in close combat.
