Synopsis

In ancient Persia, Prince Dastan and his warband stumbles upon a revered Indian princess who leads them to a lost kingdom in the Indus Valley - a mythical city of beauty, dominated at its center by a massive Tree of Life. Therein lies an ancient evil entity of darkness, Ahriman, who was imprisoned within the tree after a cosmic struggle with his brother, Ormazd. When they arrive, Princess Alaoka fights her father, the Mourning King, who unleashes Ahriman as payment for a debt. In doing so, all of Ahriman’s Corruption is set upon the world. With the help of Prince Dastan and his men, Aaloka must take up arms against these cosmic foes in an attempt to redeem herself and cleanse the blighted kingdom from the corruptions of mankind. Based on the 2008 game by Ubisoft, this sweeping fantasy romance harkens back to the great swords & sorcery films of old like the 7th Voyage of Sinbad, with a more intimate lense.

Description of Circe (The Alchemist):

A princess with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, she sought to learn all that life had to offer — save for death, which she desperately sought the means to avoid. As Circe continued to gain more knowledge, she in turn began to lose what little bit of humanity, morality and sense of ethics she had left. She committed many atrocities in the name of science and progress. In time she grew old, weak and ill, and went to Ahriman for the time to find a formula that would grant her eternal youth, in exchange for her undying servitude. Immortality now secured, Circe continued herexperiments completely free of mortality… free of many things…
