Aika is a magical girl who has become disillusioned and unenthusiastic about her job, and seeks refuge in an ordinary high school as an ordinary girl. The show's protagonist. Aika is a cheerful and optimistic fifteen-year-old girl who takes everything in life with nothing but determination and glee... Except for her job as a magical girl. She's kind of gotten sick of the whole thing, and just wants to lead an ordinary life. Unfortunately, the universe does not want to give her that relief.
