Description of James Mackenzie:
As Lacy's half-brother, James acted as a father figure for Lucas before enlisting near his sixth birthday. He has a close bond with Lucas when he's around, which leads to a swift clash with Milo. James is gentle and kind, but he is riddled with harsh anxieties and a deep rooted anger that no one can put a name to. This furthers many conflicts with Milo, to both of their detriment.
