Synopsis

Unlike the previous series, which were loosely based on Greek mythology and created by Zack Snyder, this series is loosely inspired by Norse mythology and created by Peter Jackson, with the majority of it set in ancient Scandinavia in the realm of Midgard. After wiping out the gods of Mount Olympus, Kratos moves on to the frigid lands of Scandinavia, where he and his son must embark on an odyssey across a dangerous world of gods and monsters.

Description of Tyr (The Norse God of War):

Týr is the Norse God of War, Law, and Honor, a son of Odin, half-brother of Thor, Baldur, Hodr, and Bragi and paternal uncle of Magni and Modi. He is the Aesir God of War and Laws. However, he was betrayed by his father, Odin when he imprisoned him and attacked the giants.
