Synopsis

Set in modern-day Tokyo, we follow the protagonist, Ren Amamiya, who is unjustly labeled a delinquent and is sent to Shujin Academy on probation. As he navigates his new life, Ren discovers the existence of the Metaverse—a parallel dimension born from humanity's collective unconscious—where people's distorted desires manifest as malevolent palaces ruled by sinister figures. With the help of his newfound friends, Ren forms the Phantom Thieves of Hearts—a group of vigilante Persona users determined to change the hearts of corrupt individuals and force them to confess their misdeeds.

Description of Hifumi Togo (東郷 一二三):

Hifumi Togo is a Shogi champion who was known for never losing a match. Her appearance has gained her attention as the "too beautiful shogi player." She practices hard and gives interviews every day for the sake of her mother and for the world of shogi. She is widely disliked for suspicions of fixing her matches-rumors that turn out to be mostly true, as while she is innocent, her mother bribes her competitors. The protagonist meets Hifumi in a church located in Kanda.
