Synopsis

Percy Jackson & the Olympians is a five-book series of adventure and mythological fiction. The first book, The Lightning Thief, was released in 2005, followed by The Sea of Monsters, The Titan's Curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth, and its final book, The Last Olympian in 2009. It is narrated by the title character, Percy Jackson, a demigod son of Poseidon. It is also the first book series in the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles.

Description of Maria DiAngelo:

Maria DiAngelo is the mother of Bianca and Nico, and the mortal lover of Hades. After Hades refused to bring his children to Camp Half Blood; Zeus took matters into his own hands and tried to kill his children. Hades had enough time to save his children, and Maria died. Her death is what drove Hades to send the horde of monsters to kill Thalia; the daughter of Zeus.
