Synopsis

In the 1830s, estate agent Thomas Hutter (Bill Skarsgård) to Transylvania for a fateful meeting with Count Orlok (Timothée Chalamet), a prospective client. In his absence, Hutter's new bride, Ellen (Sydney Sweeney), is left under the care of their friends, Friedrich (Adam Driver) and Anna Harding (Anya Taylor-Joy). Plagued by horrific visions and an increasing sense of dread, Ellen soon encounters an evil force that's far beyond her control.

Description of Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz:

Like the Hardings, Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz is a family friend of the Hutters, and has studied vampires ever since he was a small boy. Albin does all he can to help Ellen overcome her demonic episodes, but unfortunately, while Orlok is going to confront Ellen, Albin attempts to kill the Count, only for Orlok to jam his claws into Albin's stomach, then drink his own blood, killing him.
