Synopsis

In the 1830s, estate agent Thomas Hutter (Bill Skarsgård) to Transylvania for a fateful meeting with Count Orlok (Timothée Chalamet), a prospective client. In his absence, Hutter's new bride, Ellen (Sydney Sweeney), is left under the care of their friends, Friedrich (Adam Driver) and Anna Harding (Anya Taylor-Joy). Plagued by horrific visions and an increasing sense of dread, Ellen soon encounters an evil force that's far beyond her control.

Description of Herr Knock:

Knock is Orlok's servant, almost like a butler to the Count. On top of that, he is also a well-known criminal throughout Germany, and is ratted out by Thomas Hutter at the start of the film. Eventually, Professor Von Franz interrogates him for information, but as Knock is revealing things to the Professor, he is the first to die by Orlok's hands, courtesy of his powers in telepathy.
