Description of Ellen Hutter:

Ellen Hutter is the main protagonist of the film, and Thomas Hutter's wife, with whom Orlok is infatuated with. Throughout the film, Orlok tries multiple times to possess Ellen, who is aided by Professor Von Franz to overcome these attempts at possession. By the time Orlok finally meets her, Ellen purposefully leaves the blinds open during intimacy with the Count, who perishes from exposure to sunlight. Ellen soon dies in the embrace of Orlok, surrounded by her husband Thomas and friend Friedrich Harding.
