Cole and the ninja get an invitation to Shintaro for the birthday of the princess Vania. Cole and Vania discover something far more interesting though, a vengestone mine with Geckle and Munce slaves. Cole goes to free the slaves and fight the Skull Sorcerer while Vania goes to get the help of the ninja. The ninja are split up, with Nya, Jay, and Lloyd going to the Munce, Kai and Zane to the Geckles, and Cole joins up with Vania and Wu to get her father for help.
