Description of Tang Shen:
The long-lost wife of Hamato Yoshi. Like Yoshi, Tang Shen is a renowned martial artist with a kind heart who fell in love with Yoshi after one fateful sparring match and they later married. One night while having dinner together, Yoshi and Shen were visited by Yoshi’s old friend Oroku Saki with a proposition to work for the Oroku Zaibatsu. When Yoshi refused, Saki killed him and abducted Shen to keep her as a prisoner out of spite towards his old friend, though she would eventually be freed by the end of the first season and start living with the Turtles as a mother figure to them for the rest of the series.
