Synopsis

Miles Morales (Spider-Man II) and Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) team up to investigate an Inhuman/Terrigen-Crystal trafficking ring. In the process, they meet mysterious new hero called American Dream. The three heroes soon learn there is something much bigger at play, and decide to work together, along with other young heroes, to fight the evil forces behind everything.

Description of Goldballs (Fabio Medina):

At thirteen, Fabio discovers he is a mutant with the ability to create and shoot golden balls out of his chest. At first he tries to hide his mutant abilities, fearing people would mock and reject him for it. He soon is forced to reveal his mutant nature when his school is attacked by the Shocker. Impressed by his heroism, Miles recruits him as one of the first members of the New Warriors, and the two become close friends.
