Synopsis

So what happens when a divorced father/single gay lawyer learns the hard way that his estranged college-aged son is actually a CIA agent hunting down an elite Rogue agent terrorizing the states? Most people would say panic and run, but Damon Hunt is not your average man. No, he's a witty as heck, clumsy, openly gay middle-aged man who decides to befriend the agent in question (and give him rudimentary people therapy in a way only he can), and even falls in love with an Australian professional assassin/thief. Really, he might even be just as evil as they are, but he has the patience to learn and be compassionate with others. Speaking of, they seem to have the same for him. Could his decision in helping others also be the thing that saves him as those he befriended now help him in return?

Description of Humphert Lamphert (The deuteragonist, rogue CIA agent, and friend of Damon):

Give this guy a break, he only want to save children from being used as soldiers in the CIA. He doesn't know why that includes babysitting a fellow middle-aged dad who should really reconsider his decision to befriend the man who almost got him killed due to hiring incompetent (and surprisingly vulnerable) henchmen. At least he's got a friend who can help him make amends with his daughter, now how to pay him back? By doing the shovel talk on the assassin trying to woo him and helping him with medication on the days he needs them.
