Silk (real name Cindy Moon) was raised by her parents in New York City, on a school trip to a science laboratory she was bitten by a magic irradiated spider that also bite another student on the trip, who would become Spider-Man. Cindy, however, was locked in a vault in order to control her powers and keep her safe from the forces out to get her. Up until Spider-Man freed her and then they became best friends. Silk can notably do whatever a spider can, including spin a web of any size with her organic Tobey Maguire webbing. Furthermore, she is the best spider person. Sorry Pete, your bestie's just better!
