"Mouthwashing" is a first-person psychological horror game where a five-person crew of the spaceship Tulpar is stranded after a mysterious crash. The game explores themes of psychological breakdown, corporate neglect, and the limits of the human psyche when faced with isolation and dwindling resources. The story is told through a nonlinear narrative, jumping between the events leading up to the crash and the aftermath as the crew grapples with the trauma and their increasingly desperate situation.
