Description of Thunderstrike (Eric Masterson):

A humble, rough-around-the-edges construction worker and single father who becomes the unexpected wielder of Mjolnir when the Asgardian realms collapse in on themselves. With Thor missing (or possibly dead), Eric becomes the new protector of Midgard and the Nine Realms, though he struggles to live up to the name. He eventually forges his own enchanted mace, Thunderstrike, to channel his unique identity rather than just following in Thor’s shadow.
