Description of Selena Slate (Spectra):
Selena Slate is the former lab assistant to Dr. Charles Warren Fong, who was working on experiments with light using a synthetic diamond. After being exposed to the diamond's irradiating lights, Slate became empowered as Spectra, a prismatic being with the ability to affect emotions of other people by projecting different lights.
