Krypto, also known as Krypto the Superdog, is a fictional superhero dog appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with Superman. He is the main protagonist of the television and film series of the same name. In most continuities, Krypto is Superman's pet dog, usually depicted as a white dog of a generic pedigree.
