Synopsis

Follow the courageous pioneer journey of the growing Ingalls family through Wisconsin, Kansas, Minnesota and Dakota Territory during the late 1800s. Energetic, quick-tempered and forever wearing her heart on her sleeve, Laura is truly the main source of excitement in the family. Unlike her older sister, Mary, she delights in romping outdoors and seeking out adventures wherever she can find them. Although her emotional impulsiveness frequently lands her into trouble, Laura truly strives to control herself and is learning to channel her intense feelings into good causes. Whereas Mary resembles her gentle and patient mother, Laura undoubtedly takes after their father, forever accompanying him on small excursions and working to make the family as safe as possible.
