Synopsis

Hal Jordon lost his father and mother during a plane crash that they were on together. He was the only survivor. He is now a test pilot for Ferris Aircraft until he was fired for outing the CEO for corrupt black market deals. One day he discovers a ring from a dying alien and steps into the larger universe of The Green Lantern Corps

Description of Tomar-Re:

Tomar-are acts as the Oogway to Sinestro’s Shifu during Hal Jordon’s training and he gets to know Hal. He tells Hal of how he fears he’ll fail another planet just like he did Krypton many years ago. He teaches Hal of courage in the face of failure and the courage to do what’s right even when everyone will tell you to look the other way or give in to your temptations. The two bond but sadly when Sinestro becomes a yellow lantern he is killed dueling him one on one.
