The series is about 12-year-old telepath Sophie Foster, who discovers she is an elf and must leave her human life behind to live in the hidden elven world of the Lost Cities. There, she attends the prestigious Foxfire academy and uncovers the truth about her past and her connection to a rebel group called the Black Swan, while also being hunted by the evil extremist group known as the Neverseen. The story follows her journey to understand her multiple abilities, find where she belongs, and protect her new world from threats
