When a group of villains abruptly begins doing good and succeeds in solving problems that a long-established Justice League never could, a future version of Superman arrives alongside an unexpected ally to warn the League that something far worse is coming. Together, the heroes must act to prevent a dark and catastrophic future for planet Earth.
