Synopsis

Following Eclipso's defeat, Klarion steps from the shadows to enact a plan that will see the Justice League Dark team fractured and able to absorb their magic and see him become the world's most powerful sorcerer and able to conquer the planet to turn it into his own personal playground of suffering and chaos. Unless the Justice League Dark team, are able to stop him!

Description of Zachary Zatara:

Maybe Klarion considers him easy pickings to start with? Doesn't outright kill him but certainly weakens him to the point where it puts Zatanna off balance which would make her in a postion to bargain with Klarion, Klarion sees him to have potential which would set up a role in a future Zatanna movie?
