Synopsis

These truly, truly, truly outrageous adventures of a music company owner who uses a holographic computer to live a secret life as a rock star originally aired from 1985-88, but are fondly remembered by those who grew up during the series' initial run. Jerrica Benton runs Starlight Music, but she's also the pink-haired lead singer of Jem and the Holograms, a pop-music girl group with really big dos and funky fashions that only the 1980s could dream up.

Description of Techrat:

Techrat (who's real name goes unstated) is the engineering genius who occasionally works for Eric Raymond. He is skilled with computers, electronics, sound equipment and laser effects. He often builds devices to vex The Holograms and he hates to be touched. Techrat is an engineer and a master of electronics. He has built many gadgets throughout the series, which can even become potentially lethal. Techrat's place is a makeshift garage workshop full of electronic components, such as monitors, cables, diodes, circuit boards, bizarre gadgets, computers, etc. The Rat Hole outside looks like an igloo made of metal.
