EVO: a new phase of human evolution. They're young, extremely beautiful, genetically perfect, owning remarkable powers. And they kill. Melissa's family has already been destroyed by these monsters. Is it possible that now's her turn too? When in a normal morning at school her hidden powers wake up, her dream of having a normal life breaks in pieces. Brought in a Krankenhaus, the institues where EVOs are kept under control and studied, Mel finds out a world of teens exactly like her, everyone with their own powers and related fears. In fact, EVOs can't bear their genetical perfection, so everyone of them has a psychic problem, more or less grave depending on their powers' intensity, on a scale from 1 to 10. She even finds her first real friends, the Wood Gang, composed by the most powerful EVOs of the Krankenhaus, but everything changes when a night comes to the institute Byron J. King, the most dangerous - and attractive - EVOs known by medias, recently escaped from the thousandth Krankenhaus he's been kept in. He obviously spots at once the Wood Gang, exposing to his new partners the many unsolved mysteries and unanswered questions of the Krankenhaus. Things aren't exactly how they seem. What does it risk who's too curious?
