Synopsis

Brash space adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the quarry of relentless bounty hunters after he steals an orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain. To evade Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with four disparate misfits: gun-toting Rocket Raccoon, treelike-humanoid Groot, enigmatic Gamora, and vengeance-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when he discovers the orb's true power and the cosmic threat it poses, Quill must rally his ragtag group to save the universe.

Description of Gamora:

Gamora is the female protagonist of Guardians of the Galaxy and the tetartagonist of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. An adopted daughter of the most dangerous man in the universe, Gamora wishes to redeem herself for her past crimes and help save the galaxy from Ronan the Accuser, who wishes to wipe out all of Xandar and the Xandarian culture. After becoming a Guardian of the Galaxy, Gamora struggles in her relationship with Peter Quill, and is unsure if she should ever reciprocate his feelings or not.
